Participations

Participation is open to all natural persons, excluding the employees of the companies and their family members who have participated in the preparation or execution of the draw or parts of it. Children under 18 years old participate with the permission of the guardian, and with the guardian’s contact information.

Competition time


The competition runs from May 10 2018 - Aug 31 2018.

Entries

Entries must be submitted at the Ranua Wildlife Park website or by filling out a paper entry form the duration of the competition.

Prizes

The animal caretakers’ jury will select the best proposal for the name of the Pallas’ cat. The winner will be rewarded a two-day family (2 adults and 2 children) accommodation package at the Arctic Fox Igloos in Ranua, including a half day at the Ranua Wildlife Park with the animal caretakers who look after the Pallas’ cat. Value of the prize is approx. 1300 €. The winner's name may be published in Ranua Wildlife Park website and social media in the form of first name last name first letter (eg. James S.). The winner will be contacted personally. The winner will be chosen at the latest Sep 14 2018. Prize cannot be exchanged for cash. If the winners cannot be reached by Sep 30 2018, unclaimed prizes will not be replaced. The winner is resposible for any travel arrangements and costs.


The organizer's liability

Ranua Regional Tourist Agency shall be responsible for the possible lottery tax. Participants release Ranua Regional Tourist Agency and any other partners liable for damage caused or allegedly caused by participation in this competition. The organizer's responsibility towards participants may in no circumstances exceed the value of the prize. The organizer is not liable for technical reasons, due to which entries or prizes cannot be delivered. Participant is responsible for making sure his contact information is correct.

Other terms and condition


By participating in the competition the participant agrees to abide by these rules and Ranua Regional Tourist Agency decisions. The participants understand that Facebook and Instagram or other independent services are not related to the competition, and do not recommend it in any way. Participant gives information to the organizer. Ranua Regional Tourist Agency reserves the right to make changes without notice to the lottery, its rules, prizes, time or other factors affecting the implementation of the competition.

The purpose of the register

The main purpose of the register is to collect name suggestions from participants of the competition, and to when the winners are chosen, to inform the contestants of the prize, and to deliver the prizes to the winners. If the customer has given their consent, their contact information will also be used for direct marketing.

Content of the register 

The customer's competition entry, contact information (name, address, telephone number and e-mail address) and information on marketing authorizations or prohibitions.

Data preservation and the use of register

The data is preserved in our newsletter system provided by Liana Technologies (Koodiviidakko) whose technology and processes are in line with the GDPR. Access to the data is only granted to our employees who are responsible for managing the competition and our email marketing.

Transfer of data

Information is not shared with any other than the authorities designated by the law. Data will not be transferred outside the EU or the European Economic Area.

Use of the register 

The register is used only by Ranua Regional Tourist Agency and only to those purposes that the customer has allowed.

Right of access and its implementation

Everyone has the right to check the data relating to him. The inspection request must be made in writing to the registrar. The request is to contact the registry.

Rectification 

Everyone has the right to demand correction of information in the register. The correction should be made in writing and in sufficient detail. Address correction requests to the contact person of the registry.

Right of Refusal

The customer has the right to prohibit the use of their data for direct marketing, distance sales and other direct advertising. The ban can be added or removed at any time by written notice to the registrar.
